OPTION ONE: HOT POTATO is a free software for those who want to produce their own online exercises. It includes six applications, enabling you to create multiple-choice, short answer, jumbled sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web.

Visit the site, download the software and try to make up at least two exercises using different applications. In order to do so, you must read all the instructions very carefully.You can choose one of the following communicative functions to develop your exercises:
1. Complaining
2. Declining invitations and making excuses
3. Making suggestions
4. Talking about feelings/emotions
Print your exercises and include them in your portfolio.
OPTION TWO: WEBQUEST

2. What are the parts of a webquest?
3 Now surf the site http://webquest.sdsu.edu/webquest.html and examine some examples of webquest. Choose one and identify and describe each part.

4. Follow all the steps and create your own webquest in order to develop one of the following topics:
1. Ethics
2. Health
3. Environment
4. Cultural plurality
5. Sexual orientation
6. work and consumerism
Include a copy of your webquest in your portfolio.
