A search engine is a tool for locating Internet resources: websites, texts, images, videos, etc.

1. Visit at least 4 search engines and write a report to be included in your portfolio.  (see instructions below).

Your report must include:

1. Prepare an evaluation sheet for your task. The following suggestions can help you, but you can find more on the net. You can also include your own ideas.

Use the evaluation sheet to describe the characteristics of 4 search engines and choose the best one. Justify your choice. (10 grades)

2. Choose a communicative function (greetings, asking for information, giving instructions, etc) to teach your students. Use the search engine you consider the best and find (a) texts and (b) pictures you can use in your classroom. (10 grades)

Include them in your portfolio. In order to copy an image, just click on it with the mouse right button and then click on copy. Then go to your document, click again the mouse right button and then click on paste.
